This policy applies to all individuals associated with HWF and covers all locations and activities related to our organization, including but not limited to office premises, events, fieldwork, and online interactions.
HWF has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. Any form of sexual harassment will not be tolerated, and appropriate action will be taken promptly against offenders.
HWF’s management and leadership team is responsible for setting the tone for a harassment-free environment, ensuring compliance with this policy, and taking immediate action upon receiving complaints.
All employees and volunteers are responsible for adhering to this policy, respecting the rights and dignity of their colleagues, and promptly reporting any incident of sexual harassment.
If the investigation confirms an incident of sexual harassment, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the offender, which may include warnings, suspension, termination, and/or legal action.
False and malicious complaints of sexual harassment will also result in disciplinary action.
HWF will conduct regular awareness programs aimed at educating all individuals associated with the organization about sexual harassment, its various forms, and its negative impacts.
Awareness programs may include seminars, workshops, webinars, and informational campaigns to ensure that everyone is aware of their rights and responsibilities regarding sexual harassment.
These programs will emphasize the importance of maintaining a respectful and inclusive work culture.
HWF will encourage employees, volunteers, and management to actively participate in creating a culture of respect, inclusivity, and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
Employees and volunteers will be encouraged to report any concerns related to sexual harassment, even if they are unsure whether it constitutes a violation.
